Overview
The neighbourhood is a single-family residential area on both sides of Keele Street which is a commercial street. The western part of the neighbourhood, west of Culford is known as Rustic. Rustic is home to many ethnicities, the most common being Italian and Jamaican. It also has a very large African population mainly from Ghana with Rustic (mainly the Jane-Falstaff area and all along Jane Street) having one of the biggestGhanaian populations in all of Toronto
Homes
East of Black Creek Drive features curvilinear streets and numerous culs-de-sac that are complimented by well kept bungalows and storey-and-a-half brick houses. There are only a small number of semi-detached houses in this part of the neighbourhood. These houses were built in the 1950's and early 1960's.
